We are thankful to the over 50 million customers who made Ship's a Classic Mid-Century Googie treasure. Ship's worked very hard to provide our customers the highest quality food at a very fair value. For 40 years 24/7/365 days a year Ship's "was there”. All were served equally. Workers, office people, the wealthy, stars, and the late night waiters from the famous Hollywood & Beverly Hills hot spots could all enjoy the same high quality food they served to the “stars”.
Many of today's “foodie places and people” were then starving students at UCLA. Even with limited funds they could get high quality food at a very good value. We are proud of the Ship's founders' effect on foodservice nationwide and worldwide.
